Championing

Confirmation keeps the deal aligned. But alignment doesn’t move a message through an organization. People do.

And without someone carrying the weight, even the strongest yes can collapse in the room it was never pitched in.

That’s why we don’t stop at commitment. And we don’t stop at confirming. We champion because progress doesn’t just require agreement. It requires advocacy.

It is easy for us to assume once the deal is confirmed, the hard part is over. But inside the client’s world, things are just getting started. Priorities shift. Capacity tightens. New friction emerges. And when we aren’t in the room to address it, that champion is.

They’re not just the person who said yes, they are the person who will advocate for that yes when you’re not around. Who holds the line when others question the decision. Who carries the story further than you ever could.

But that kind of advocacy doesn’t happen by default. It happens by design.

Our job now is to make their job easier. Not by handing off bullet points, but by helping them take ownership of the outcome. We coach the message, rehearse the friction, and shape the story to match rooms we will never see. Because a true champion doesn’t just repeat our pitch. They protect its purpose.

Deals don’t stall because the client stops believing.

They stall because no one’s sure how to explain what happens next.

And the best sellers don’t just close the deal, they build someone who can carry it forward, and who will win the next room without them.

Previous: Confirming. Next: Constructing.
